MAKERBOT PLA PRECISION MODEL FILAMENT
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources. This material is safe for office use, non-toxic and easy to print with high reliability and dimensional accuracy. MakerBot precision PLA material is optimized with the slicing algorithm in our software to give you the best results and highest quality. PLA printed objects are ideal for the early stages of concept modeling and shape studies. They generally have a more glossy appearance.

MAKERBOT SMART SPOOL™
The Smart Spool™ provides valuable information such as material type, color and remaining quantity directly to MakerBot Print via an RFID chip. The spool contains a desiccant to ensure low moisture content in the drawer.
