Dual Performance Extruders
Included with your MakerBot MethodX Carbon Fiber is a Performance Extruder 1XA, a Support Extruder 2XA, and a Composite Extruder 1C. This allows you to print a nice variety of materials. The Performance Extruder 1A and Support Extruder 2A are also compatible with the MethodX Carbon Fiber.
The build volume of 19 x 19 x 19.6 (single extrusion - coming soon / 15.2 x 19 x 19.6 with dual extrusion) allows you to combine quality with ease of printing. In addition, there is the MD Labs Extruder, which allows you to print third party materials on the MakerBot Method X Carbon Fiber.
Effortless Carbon Printing
The MethodX Carbon Fiber also allows you to effortlessly make nylon prints with carbon fibres. The Composite Extruder, combined with the heated print chamber, ensure solid high-quality prints. The consistent heat in the chamber also ensures that the pieces are already tempered during printing.
Circulated Heated Chamber
Unique to the MakerBot MethodX Carbon Fiber is its heated chamber. Unlike other printers, the MethodX Carbon Fiber has a circulating heat flow that spans the entire room, so the temperature is consistently maintained at 110°C throughout the room. This ensures that the properties of both the materials and your prints are optimized. The superior Z-layer adhesion and dimensional accuracy of 0.2mm provide unparalleled qualitative results.
Wifi connectivity
The MethodX Carbon Fiber is not only a guarantee of good results, thanks to its 5” LED touchscreen and WiFi connectivity, it is also extremely easy to use, optimizing your printing convenience. Thanks to the WiFi connectivity, you can easily manage your prints from your PC.
Sturdy metal construction
Finally, the MethodX Carbon Fiber is made up of an ultra-rigid metal construction. The structured and optimized construction of the device ensures minimal offset flexing, resulting in more consistent and high-quality prints.
