What is standard SLS powder?

Standard SLS powder is nylon powder. By placing this in a 3D printer and then melting it, you create an ever-expanding model. This is done in a very detailed manner. Each time, the 3D printer lays out a layer of 0.1mm nylon powder on the print bed. The laser then goes to work to melt this and thereby make a solid layer of it. By continuing to repeat this process, at some point a very specific shape is created. Thanks to the melting of this laser, this shape is also very sturdy. Difference Standard VS Flexible SLS Powder

· Applications: The other big difference between standard SLS powder and the flexible variant is the application possibilities. The difference in hardness makes a big difference in optimal applications. For example, standard SLS powder is especially suitable for products where it is important that they retain their solid shape. Think of detailed product parts or prototypes. For flexible SLS powder you should think more of applications such as toys, clothing parts and medical models. They require a certain degree of elasticity for maximum practicality.
