PLA filament. PLA filament is the most commonly used 3D printer filament at the moment. This is mainly due to the ease of printing and the wide usability of PLA. Because PLA filament is quite easy to print, we always recommend beginners to start with this.
PLA filament is widely available, from the affordable PrimaValue PLA to the high-quality Innofil3D Pro1 tough PLA. Most PLA filament is always in stock with us, so ordered before 16:00 will be delivered tomorrow. From 50,- your order will be delivered free of charge.
PLA filament printing tips.
The guideline of the printing temperature of PLA is between 180°C and 220°C
The use of a heated print bed is not mandatory. If your 3D printer does have a heated print bed, you can set it to 35 - 60°C.
It is important that the first layer adheres well. You do this by calibrating the print bed. (levelling) The use of PEI and/or 3DLac promotes layer adhesion.
Of course, the quality of the PLA filament with which you print is also very important. That is why we only sell filaments that we are satisfied with ourselves. Such as the filaments of Innofil3D, Formfutura and PolyMax. These are all available in many different colors.
Actually, all our types of PLA filament such as Innofil3D PRO1 are available in both 1.75 and 2.85mm. There is a difference between all types of PLA filament. As a result, it may be that one filament fits your 3D printer just a little better. If you would like advice on the best material for your project, you can always contact us.
PLA is a material that is widely used with 3D printers. Mainly because of the easy printing properties of this material. Of course, this is not a miracle polymer that can be used for any application. Some applications require a material that can withstand more than PLA. If you have any questions about which material type best suits your application, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to advise you.

Cheap filament made of PLA (polyactide)
Besides ABS and PET, PLA is one of the most commonly used filaments for 3D printers. PLA is a synthetic polymer that belongs to the polyesters. PLA is composed of various chemically bound lactic acid molecules. PLA can be converted into a moldable plastic (also called thermoplastic) by adding heat. Just like with a 3D printer. PLA is also considered to be biocompatible. Thanks to the many advantages of this polymer, it can be found in sportswear and functional clothing, for example. It is probably best known for its use with 3D printers. We know almost no one with a 3D printer who has never printed PLA.
Are you looking for high quality PLA filament for your 3D printer? Then you have come to the right place. From the cheap PLA from primavalue to the consistently high-quality PLA from BASF – Innofil3D. We have it all. You have also come to the right place for tailor-made advice for your application.
PLA filament: the many advantages of PLA.
Most PLA filaments are a so-called PLA blend. In laboratories, the perfect composition of the filament is examined on a molecular level. This optimizes the printability and quality of the printed part. PLA is not only the most widely used filament, it is also the most sought after by 3D printer owners. This is due to the many advantages of this material. One of these advantages is the bio compatibility. PLA absorbs relatively little moisture. Although this filament is not very impact resistant, it is sturdy, tensile and has good surface hardness.

Buy cheap PLA filament.
PLA is the most commonly used filament for FDM 3D printers. Most users 3D print with PLA because it is quite easy to print. Has little chance of warping and distortion and gives a nice surface quality. This material also does not impose any special requirements on the 3D printer. The melting temperature is not exceptionally high and a heated print bed is not necessarily necessary. All this makes PLA filament so very popular among 3D printer users. Both among hobbyists and many business users.
In our range you will find PLA filament from many different manufacturers and in even more different colors. Do you need advice on the right filament for your application? We are happy to advise you.
The many benefits of polyactides.
Polyactides are made from corn starch. In general, a PLA filament does not only consist of corn starch, but it is a so-called PLA blend. The R&D department of the manufacturers is always busy to give their filament even better properties. PLA is not only the most used but also the most sought after material by owners of 3D printers. Because there are many advantages to this material. One of the most frequently mentioned advantages is the bio compatibility. For example, PLA products can be made food safe. PLA filament also absorbs little moisture or water. It is not very impact resistant, but it is stiff, tensile and has good surface hardness.

In our webshop you will only find spools of PLA that we are satisfied with. We also have almost all colors in stock as standard. Otherwise it will be delivered within a few days. You can contact us for various brands such as Innofil3D, Ultimaker, PrimaValue and FormFutura.
Buy Ultimaker PLA filament.
For printing with an Ultimaker you are bound to a 2.85mm filament. Fortunately, you are not only bound by Ultimaker's own materials. Almost all filaments we sell are available in both 1.75mm and 2.85mm. However, not every filament prints equally well. We almost always use the innofil3D PLA filament on our Ultimaker s5. Because this always produces very good print results. This is due to the strict quality control and requirements that Innofil3D sets for their materials. In addition, the quality and color is very consistent. Innofil3D is also a cheaper filament compared to the Ultimaker PLA. Without making concessions on print quality. Partly because of this, we see an increasing demand for 2.85 filaments from Innofil3D.
