TPM Wash Solvent, tripropylene glycol monomethyl ether (TPM) is a non-flammable, low-odor solvent. It is used in stereolithography (SLA) for cleaning and dissolving uncured resin in 3D printed parts. TPM has a lower evaporation rate than IPA and is many times more efficient. TPM can be used to wash about three times as many parts as IPA before it needs to be replaced. There are minor differences in handling with TPM, e.g., an additional rinse cycle with clear water and drying after wash-out, if necessary, is added.
