Choose from a huge portfolio of materials including nylon, PLA, ABS, CPE, TPU, PVA and more. Thanks to the accurate, automatic temperature measurement, you always get the perfect temperature for even better printing. The new silicone cover prevents unwanted material from entering the extruder. This ensures a much longer print head life.
The Ultimaker CC Print Core's are specially designed for reinforced, abrasive filaments. By using the replaceable CC Print Core, the Ultimaker S3 and S5 are able to print composite materials with abrasive properties. The highlight of the Print Core with a special geometry is the 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle. This ensures abrasion resistance to filaments with abrasive additives such as carbon/carbon fiber or glass fiber. The print head is built to last and has been tested by Ultimaker to print 10kg of filament with carbon fiber content in up to 1,000 hours of extrusion without loss of quality. The print core is recognized by the slicer's Cura software. Through material alliances with well-known manufacturers in the plastics industry, Ultimaker will continue to add more print profiles to the popular software.

The CC 0.6 mm printhead is exclusively intended for Ultimaker S-Series 3D printers! If you use the CC printhead in an Ultimaker 3 model, you will receive an error message about the existing risks of its use.
