Easy-to-process PP with superior performance

Compared to the PA12 and PA11 standards, polypropylene is characterized above all by its excellent chemical resistance with low density and lower material costs.
AM Polymers has been offering PP since 2017. It is harder and more heat-resistant than PE, can be processed well on all machines and thus optimally meets your specific requirements. PP-01 has a low tendency to curl and warp, which facilitates robust processing. Components made of PP-01 have good mechanical properties and, unlike many other new material developments for powder bed welding, exhibit ductile component behavior with elongation at break of over 40 %. The fracture behavior corresponds to that of PA12, with the otherwise typical properties of PP.
